The Making of "Untitled"

"Untitled" is a multi-channel audiovisual installation that dissolves the conventional boundaries of spatial storytelling, as four distinct narrative scenes converge into a rhythmic void presided over by de Kapitein.

Filmed across eight days spanning two months, the work manifests as a meditation on surreal disquiet.
At its core is a six-channel soundscape that encircles viewers in a rotating sphere of audio, created through spatial ambisonic techniques and crafted within DaVinci Resolve. 

​

 

The installation premiered at ArtEZ Enschede (June-August 2023) where the interplay of visual minimalism and complex spatial audio created an encompassing environment that challenged traditional notions of cinematic space and storytelling.
