This movie is based on one of my nightmares. 

In my interaction with the actor (a non-actor), agreeing in advance upon the mood of his character, at the time of shooting I used "the principle of a least interference", while keeping physically close range with the actor via wide-angle close-up shots allowed me to form the actor’s behavior even further into the oppression I needed for the mood with a mere direction of “No matter what, don’t look at the camera” simply worked well for this film.
While having a large margin for improvisation in editing, I intended the city streets of Istanbul as an overwhelming antagonist.
In the end, the story is made by the viewer.
